Born and bred in New York, Max is a rare native of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He is an actor, director and producer (not always in that order) and a graduate of Stuyvesant High School, Mc Gill University, and the Juilliard School of Drama, where he was the recipient of the Juilliard Career Advancement Fellowship Award, The Jonathan Madrigano Entrepreneurship Grant, and The William R. Hurst Scholarship for excellence.

Max is the founder of G44 Productions, a production company dedicated to the  development of original content  and powered by the next generation of American creative artists.  To date, G44 Productions has been involved in the production of four short films, a web series, a commercial, and is currently developing a full length feature, as well as a children's book.  Max also founded Backyart -- an-on-hiatus live multi-disciplinary arts event -- along with his now wife, Maria Simeone, and sister Lia Woertendyke.

Max is always on the look out for new and exciting projects that will help change and develop the face of American art and entertainment.
